1. What is the dietary therapy in Chinese Medicine?

Traditional Chinese medicine believes what we eat largely determines our condition of health, state of mind, and even, to the certain extend, who we are. Chinese medicine makes comprehensive classification of foods and guidelines in food selection with therapeutic considerations. Therefore, dietary evaluation and recommendation are often incorporated in our practice for most conditions to enhance the healing.

2. How would the dietary therapy be served?

Dietary counseling will most likely be a part of your treatment.  Based on Traditional Chinese Medical concepts, the seasons, and your constitutional diagnosis, dietary recommendations may be made to supplement your treatments. You may administrate the dietary materials, in general they are parts of plants, fruits and vegetables, in your food and dishes, for example, in gruel or soup.
